The Starfire Scoundrels Story
Welcome to the Fringe, a Five Parsecs from Home solo narrative campaign following the crew of the Starlight Vanguard. Neon docks. Bad contracts. Worse rivals. Hard-bitten sci-fi grit with a smirk.
The Starfire Scoundrels
They met in the Rusty Wrench on Nexus-9—a bar that smells like coolant, cheap synth-ale, and second chances that never quite stick. Captain Aria “Starfire” Voss, scarred and sharp, looking for a crew that would not fold under pressure. Elias “Tech” Thorne, who walked in with a restored troop transport and a crush he never quite hid. Kai “Ghost” Tanaka, quiet knives and quieter ghosts. Lyra “Hex” Tanis, uplift steel and mercenary cool. Rax “Wrench” Thal, the xen engineer who could talk a dying reactor into one more jump. Jaxara “Jax” Morgan, hacker smile and a machine pistol that never stays holstered long.
They call themselves the Starfire Scoundrels. They fly together. They split the spoils. They burn whatever needs burning—and sometimes what should have stayed buried.

Persistent patron locked. One more fight before the Veil lets go.

Ashline Tech Belt on Nexus Prime. Blood Storm Mercs and a cyborg hired to guard a rented gene-vault cradle. Jax slides the kill-code home while Hex’s ripper sword takes a chrome arm and Korra reallocates systems face-down on the ferrocrete. Quest done. Specimen Zero’s copy dies screaming in machine language. New rival: Red Helix Combine. Load it. End it. Go home.
Current Status
The Starfire Scoundrels stand on the far side of the Vita Synth nightmare. Specimen Zero’s original sits buried behind Biomorphix paperwork; the duplicate’s handshake is burned out under Ashline. Rax’s bunk is still empty. Korra’s visor slits still glow. Vesperon Arms and Red Helix both have their names on the board. Credits in the hold. Scars on the crew. The Starlight Vanguard’s ramp is still warm. Wherever the next rumor points, Captain Aria “Starfire” Voss and her Scoundrels will be there—loud, lucky, and hard to kill.
Thanks for reading this far!
